The years 2130, and nothing has changed. People are still dying, cancer doesn't have a cure and the pollution levels are dangerously high. Croatoa is now the main distributer of vaccines for all illnesses, its scientists far more advanced than most. The city and vast lands around it are well, but not overly, populated, the meadows, beachs, forests and plains around it are empty, left to the wild.
The date is now 4th of July 2131, and three new vaccines have been tried and tested on the humans yet with disastrous affects. The 'guinea pig' humans then turned rabid, their skin peeling and becoming vicious cannibals. In the panic that ensued, the scientists knocked over the vials containing the virus and it entered the air system. The strains mutated violently, and within hours all of Croatoa was infected. It affected every living thing it touched. Other than horses. They remained alive...
Four years on and now all humans are mere skeletons on the ground, shadows of a past race. The three strains of virus have now mutated in the horse's defense system, destroying it to suit its own needs. With no predators, the only thing the horse's have left to fear is cross contamination and creating monster. The P176 sufferes live in peace, harmony and euphoria. The D951's are in a state of confusion, a feeling of doubt constantly over there heads. The bearers of S666 are savages, driven insane by their genetics...
Which disease are you infected by?
HOC is a semi-realistic RPG. Newly opened, there are staff positions, high ranking herds and lands up for grab. We have a minimum word count of 200, but depending on your roleplay abilities, we will offer you help and support to boost that number. We don't expect you to make a new account for every character, but we ask that you have a number you can easily cope with. Feel free to come and have a look around and ask any questions.
